Kuwait city: The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of an Asian resident found in possession of six kilograms of pure heroin, four kilograms of "shabu" pills, and two drug scales. This significant drug bust highlights the ongoing efforts to combat narcotics distribution in the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the confiscated drugs are valued at KD 170,000 (USD 550,555). The drug dealer was apprehended in the Al-Mangaf district. Authorities revealed that the suspect utilized location-based websites to receive the illegal substances, showcasing an evolving method of drug trafficking.
The Ministry confirmed that the individual has been handed over to the competent authorities for further legal procedures. This arrest underscores the commitment of Kuwait's security forces to suppress illegal drug activities in the country.
