Kuwait Reaffirms Firm Position in Supporting Palestinians’ Legitimate Rights

Kuwait City: The State of Kuwait reaffirmed its firm principled position in supporting the brotherly Palestinian people, their just cause, and their legitimate right to establish their independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. In a recent statement, the Foreign Ministry highlighted Kuwait's unwavering support for Palestinian rights.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Foreign Ministry confirmed the country's categorical rejection of Israeli settlement policies, the annexation of Palestinian lands, and the displacement of the Palestinian people. These actions, the statement emphasized, constitute a flagrant violation of international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, posing a threat to regional security and stability.

The statement further called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in providing protection for the Palestinian people and their inalienable rights. It urged global actors to work towards ending the Israeli occupation of the occupied Palestinian and Arab territories, reinforcing Kuwait's long-standing commitment to the Palestinian cause.
