Kuwait Reaffirms Commitment to UN Principles Amid International Developments

Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait reiterated its unwavering commitment to the principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and International Humanitarian Law. This affirmation underscores Kuwait's dedication to upholding international norms and contributing to global peace and security.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, highlighted the significance of the visit by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike to the Women's Cultural and Social Society. This visit symbolizes the enduring historical bonds and robust relationship between Kuwait and Japan.

In economic news, data from the Japanese government revealed a 20.8 percent decrease in Kuwait's crude oil exports to Japan in September, totaling 3.36 million barrels or 112,000 barrels per day. This decline marks the first drop in two months.

In the realm of sports, the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, inaugurated the Kuwait Asian Shooting Championship at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Shooting Complex.
