Dubai: Kuwait's national powerboat team secured the fourth position in the XCAT Powerboat World Championship 2025 held in Dubai, amidst intense competition with racers from across the globe.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Chairman of the Powerboats Committee at the Sea Sports Club, Ali Al-Shammali, expressed that the team's fourth-place finish was "satisfactory." He noted the Kuwaiti boat was equipped with a 300-horsepower engine, which was less powerful compared to the engines of other competing teams.
Al-Shammali commended the Kuwaiti team's professional performance during the championship, highlighting the efforts of team members Abdulatif Al-Omani, Khaled Karam, Bader Al-Dosari, Adel Al-Mesfer, and Mohammad Barakat.
He emphasized the importance of participating in international championships to enhance the skills of the Kuwaiti powerboat team and prepare for future sporting events.
