Cairo: The State of Kuwait Ambassador to Egypt, Ghanem Al-Ghanem, highlighted the significance of the visit by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to Egypt. The visit is viewed as crucial by the Egyptian leadership, illustrating the strong relationship between the two nations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Ambassador Al-Ghanem stated that the prime minister's visit, accompanied by a senior-level delegation representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, was aimed at participating in the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum. The participation signifies the close ties between the leaderships of Kuwait and Egypt and underscores Kuwait's interest in the international event.
Ambassador Al-Ghanem praised the cultural significance of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which showcases Egypt's dedication to preserving its heritage by housing ancient treasures and unique artifacts. He emphasized the historic relations between Kuwait and Egypt, spanning political, security, cultural, media, and economic sectors, as well as the alignment of their views on regional and international issues.
The ambassador noted that these bilateral relations are continually growing through fruitful cooperation.
