Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a delegation from China Baowu Steel Group, led by Wang Jiang, along with representatives from the China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC) at Bayan Palace.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Chinese Transport Ministry's CSCEC has been assigned to complete the Mubarak Al-Kabeer port. During the meeting, the Chinese delegation presented information on the establishment of their corporation, its role on the international stage in providing commodities and constructing major projects, and highlighted the company's most notable ventures.
His Highness the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic bilateral ties, enhancing cooperation in nationalizing industries, and leveraging the extensive capabilities of China to fulfill the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The meeting was attended by several key figures, including Chief of Prime Minister's Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, Minister of Public Works Dr. Nora Al-Mashaan, Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdullatif Al-Mishari, and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem. Also present were Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Fatwa and Legislation Department Counselor Salah Ateeq Al-Majed, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs and Committee Rapporteur Ambassador Sameeh Johar Hayat, and Chinese Charge d'Affairs in Kuwait, Liu Xiang.
