Kuwait PM Chairs Meeting on FATF Requirements at Bayan Palace

Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired a meeting at Bayan Palace to review remarks and requirements of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation and coordinating action plans among state bodies, reflecting Kuwait's national commitment to this strategic priority.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions highlighted Kuwait's dedication to meeting international standards and fulfilling all requirements within the specified timeframe. This aligns with the country's commitment to combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

The meeting was attended by several key ministers and officials, including Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem, and Minister of Commerce and Industry Osama Boodai. Other attendees included Minister of Finance Yaqoub Al-Rifai, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior officials from the Ministry of Interior and the General Administration of Customs.
