Kuwait Participates in Antalya Diplomatic Forum Amid Regional Tensions

Kuwait City: Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, is actively participating in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. The presence of Kuwait in this international gathering underscores its commitment to engaging in diplomatic dialogues aimed at addressing global and regional challenges.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the forum has become a platform for various discussions, including the Arab League's ministerial committee on Gaza, which adopted the Antalya declaration. This declaration calls for an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza and emphasizes the need for a two-state solution as a means to achieve lasting peace in the region.

In Riyadh, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation against the closure of six schools in Palestine run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). This action by the Israeli occupation forces has drawn widespread criticism and raises significant concerns about the ongoing humanitarian situation in Palestine.

Meanwhile, Gaza continues to face turmoil as reports indicate that at least 26 Palestinians have been killed and 106 others injured due to Israeli airstrikes and bombardment in various areas of the Gaza Strip. The situation remains dire, with calls for international intervention and support to alleviate the humanitarian crisis.

In Brussels, the European Union has made an appeal for an immediate ceasefire in Sudan. The EU has expressed concern over the intentions of different actors within the country to form governments unilaterally, which could further destabilize the region. The appeal highlights the EU's stance on promoting peace and stability through diplomatic means.
