Kuwait Participates in 4th International Financing Development Conference in Spain

Seville: Kuwait will be participating in the fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, which begins tomorrow in Seville, Spain. Heading the Kuwaiti delegation is Sheikh Saud Salem Al-Sabah, the Chief of the Kuwait Investment Authority. He will be accompanied by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Spain, Ziad Al-Anbai, and representatives from the Kuwait Fund for Development.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Spanish Foreign Ministry has stated that over 200 official delegations, including 60 heads of state and approximately 150 ministers, will be attending the conference. The event aims to reformulate the global strategy and enhance resources to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals. It also serves as a platform to renew commitment to multilateral and international cooperation.

The conference will be inaugurated by the King of Spain, Felipe VI, alongside United Nations Chief Antonio Guterres and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
