Kuwait city: The price of Kuwaiti oil increased by 51 cents to USD 69.49 per barrel in Friday's trading, as reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday. This rise marks a change from the previous day's price of USD 68.98 per barrel.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the global oil markets saw a decrease in prices on the same day. Brent crude oil prices fell by 99 cents, settling at USD 65.85 per barrel. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate crude experienced a decline of USD 1.16, bringing its price down to USD 62.80 per barrel.
