Kuwait city: The National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature (NCCAL) organized an Arabic calligraphy workshop at the Modern Art Museum, as part of the 17th Summer Cultural Festival.
According to Kuwait News Agency, during the workshop, calligrapher Humoud Al-Jafran offered insights into the basics of Arabic calligraphy, its history, and types. He also provided training to participants on the use of tools, ink, and techniques involved in the art of writing.
The three-day event aims to educate trainers on the fine types of writing through practice and dealing with mistakes while portraying. The workshop seeks to enrich the artistic and cultural arena in Kuwait during the summer.
