Kuwait city: Some 150 real estate transactions took place this week worth KD 151 million (USD 498 million), said the Ministry of Justice on Wednesday. According to Kuwait News Agency, statistics published on the ministry’s website revealed that approximately 95 private real estate transactions worth KD 39 million (around USD 128.7 million) occurred between June 22nd and the 30th.
Investment real estate transactions followed, with 48 deals worth KD 54 million (around USD 178 million). Commercial real estate transactions amounted to KD 52 million (approximately USD 171.6 million), as per the ministry’s data. The crafting sector’s real estate transactions amounted to KD two million (USD 6.6 million), while coastal real estate deals reached KD four million (around USD 13.2 million).
Geographical distribution of the transactions showed 22 private real estate, 11 investment, and two commercial properties transactions in the capital district. In the Hawally governorate, 19 private real estate, 12 investment, and two commercial properties changed hands. The Farwaniya district recorded 12 private real estate and seven investment property transactions.
In Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, nine private real estate contracts were signed, while Al-Ahmadi governorate saw 20 private real estate deals. The Jahra governorate reported 13 private real estate deals, with one sole investment property transaction.
