According to Kuwait News Agency, the nation's journey through history includes notable events such as the acquisition of the first ambulance vehicle by the health department in 1949, marking a significant step in enhancing medical services. This Ford ambulance was capable of carrying more than one patient, symbolizing a move towards modern healthcare.
In 1958, the first edition of the influential Al-Arabi magazine was published by the Ministry of Information. This publication reached audiences across Arab countries, with Ahmad Zaki serving as its first Chief Editor. The following year, in 1959, the supreme council for managing state affairs empowered the "Al-Maaref" department to oversee private educational institutions, granting it the authority to issue work permits in the sector.
The year 1960 saw the release of "Tabib Al-Mojtamaa," a monthly journal published by the guidance and education division of the public health department, focusing on community health education.
