Kuwait Launches “Visit Kuwait” Platform to Boost Tourism and Cultural Engagement

Kuwait city: Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi announced the launch of the "Visit Kuwait" online platform, effective November 1.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the platform serves as the primary national gateway for visitors to obtain tourist visas to Kuwait and participate in a variety of cultural, artistic, and entertainment events. The minister emphasized that the platform offers a smart interactive map, exclusive offers, comprehensive activity planning for visitors, and instant notifications available in both Arabic and English.

The launch of the "Visit Kuwait" platform aligns with the information ministry's strategic vision to elevate Kuwait as a premier tourist and cultural hub in the region. This initiative supports Kuwait's 2035 vision, which aims to diversify the country's income sources and strengthen its tourism and entertainment sectors.

Furthermore, the platform is designed to be the official gateway for local and international companies seeking residency visas to organize various activities. This move is part of an effort to enhance partnerships between the private and public sectors, in line with the country's political leadership's aspirations to revamp Kuwait's tourism and entertainment industries.
