Kuwait Justice Minister Forms Committee to Review Real Estate and Renting Laws

Kuwait city: Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait has announced the formation of a specialized committee aimed at developing new legislation on renting and organizing the laws of the real estate union.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Sumait stated that the committee would focus on preparing a legal framework for renting, with an emphasis on transitioning these processes to digital platforms. This move is intended to promote balance among the parties involved in business transactions. Additionally, the committee will work on establishing a legal structure to organize the union of real estate owners, enhancing governance and transparency within the sector.

The committee will consist of top legal experts and personnel, and it will begin its work by consulting with various state entities and private sector stakeholders involved in residential and commercial real estate.
