Amman: Kuwaiti judo team won four gold medals and five bronze medals in youth and junior categories, at the conclusion of the Open Asian Cup hosted by Jordanian capital, Amman. According to Kuwait News Agency, the tournament featured competitions from the players of the participating teams, Kuwaiti head of delegation and treasurer of Kuwait Judo Federation Faisal Al-Hamad stated following the awarding ceremony on Sunday. Al-Hamad acknowledged the level of Kuwaiti players in the Asian tournament and emphasized that this achievement was a result of preparation by the Kuwaiti Judo Federation. He valued the role of Kuwait Public Authority for Sport in assisting the federation and highlighted the players' performance during the tournament, as well as their contribution to raising the name of Kuwait in international competitions.
