Kuwait City: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced that Kuwait International Airport has successfully passed a security audit, surpassing the international standards established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
According to Kuwait News Agency, Director-General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Humoud Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, stated that this achievement in aviation security is a reflection of the support from the country's leadership and ongoing efforts towards development and innovation in the aviation field. The ICAO audit team carried out a comprehensive review of all security systems, confirming the presence of the latest equipment and supplies that meet international standards for airport safety.
Sheikh Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of implementing strategic plans to provide superior services for travelers and achieve high evaluation ratings at both regional and international levels. He also expressed gratitude towards all government and security agencies, national companies, and individuals who contributed to this accomplishment.
