Kuwait Interior Minister Stresses Vigilance During National Days Celebrations

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah emphasized the necessity of maintaining vigilance during the National Days' celebrations to ensure safety for all. This statement was released by the Ministry following the minister's air tour, which aimed to inspect the deployment of traffic patrols at crucial locations as part of the Ministry's preparations for the 64th National Day and the 34th Liberation Day celebrations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the tour covered celebration sites in both northern and southern areas, including Arabian Gulf Street, chalets, and camps, which are expected to attract a large number of citizens and expats. The Ministry's statement highlighted the minister's call for decisive action against illegal activities and violations of environmental protection laws.

The minister also emphasized the importance of increasing patrols, including women police officers, to efficiently address situations, particularly traffic congestion. He urged both citizens and expats to cooperate with security forces, adhere to laws and instructions, and celebrate the national days in a manner that reflects Kuwait's values and traditions.

Sheikh Fahad was joined on the tour by Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operation Affairs Maj. Gen. Yusuf Al-Khadda and Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Maj. Gen. Hamed Al-Munaifi.
