Kuwait city: First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah on Wednesday engaged in discussions with various ambassadors and envoys regarding issues of joint concern. The Ministry of Interior released a press statement indicating that Sheikh Fahad Yusuf hosted the Jordanian ambassador Senan Rakan Al-Majali, the Syrian acting charge d'affaires Tamim Madani, and the ambassador of Lesotho, Manthabiseng Arcylia Phohleli at the ministry's headquarters.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf emphasized the strong relations between Kuwait and its sisterly and friendly states. He underscored Kuwait's commitment to strengthening cooperation with these countries across different fields, with a particular focus on security. Discussions with the envoys centered on enhancing coordination between Kuwait and their respective nations.
Additionally, the minister conducted a meeting with ambassadors from the Caribbean and Latin America. This meeting was part of Kuwait's broader strategy to bolster cooperation with these regions. Sheikh Fahad Yusuf reiterated the importance of friendly relations and expressed a desire to expand cooperative efforts and share expertise across various levels.
The envoys, in turn, expressed gratitude for Kuwait's hospitality and praised the nation's efforts to fortify its relationships with both sisterly and friendly states.
