Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi proudly and reverently remembered the sacrifices of the Kuwaiti people during the Iraqi invasion in 1990.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Mutairi, in a statement on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Iraqi invasion, highlighted this anniversary as a significant national milestone. He praised the solidarity, unity, and loyalty demonstrated by the Kuwaiti people during that challenging period.
Minister Al-Mutairi emphasized that 35 years after the invasion, Kuwait remains on a path of development, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of its citizens and guidance from national values and wise leadership. He underscored the importance of fostering national awareness, preserving the nation's true history, and instilling a profound sense of belonging and loyalty among the youth, who he described as the nation's real wealth and its strongest defense for the future.
He also offered prayers for mercy upon Kuwait's righteous martyrs and expressed hopes for continued prosperity, security, and stability for Kuwait.
