Kuwait Industry Authority: Participation in Gulfood ’26 Boosts Global Markets Presence

Dubai: Deputy Director General at the Public Authority for Industry, Meshari Al-Munawer, announced Kuwait's participation in Gulfood 2026 as a strategic move to support national factories and strengthen Kuwaiti products in regional and global markets. Al-Munawer emphasized the alignment of this participation with Kuwait's industrial strategic plan, aiming to expand abroad and establish direct links with importers, distributors, and commercial partners worldwide.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's presence at Gulfood includes a unified national industrial pavilion, showcasing several local food-sector companies. This reflects the diversity, quality, and competitiveness of Kuwaiti industries at this leading global event. The participation is set to provide access to the latest technologies in food manufacturing, packaging, and innovation, which is expected to contribute positively to product development and improved production efficiency.

Kuwait's Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Khaled Al-Zaabi, highlighted that the participation demonstrates the state's commitment to supporting national industries and enhancing the international presence of Kuwaiti products. Al-Zaabi mentioned the effective coordination and cooperation among relevant entities and noted the Consulate General's efforts in facilitating official participations.

On the sidelines of the event, the Public Authority for Industry honored Consul Al-Zaabi for his role and efforts in supporting Kuwait's participation in Gulfood 2026. Gulfood, recognized as the world's largest food and beverage event, commenced on Monday in Dubai and will continue until January 30. The event features over 8,500 exhibitors, presenting around 1.5 million products from 195 countries.
