Kuwait Human Rights Body Demands Release of Kuwaiti Members from “Sumud” Flotilla

Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti National Diwan of Human Rights has urged the Israeli occupation to cease its ongoing breaches of international law and human rights principles, specifically calling for the release of three Kuwaitis involved in the humanitarian flotilla, Global Sumud. According to Kuwait News Agency, the agency issued a press release condemning the actions of the Israeli occupying forces, who attacked the flotilla aimed at breaking the Gaza Strip blockade and delivering urgent humanitarian aid. The agency criticized the interception and attack on Gaza-destined ships as a clear violation of international law, which impedes humanitarian efforts and endangers civilian lives. The Kuwaiti human rights body demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all participants in the humanitarian flotilla, including the three Kuwaiti citizens, emphasizing their safe return home. It highlighted the collective responsibility to respect international laws and human rights principles and called on the internati onal community to act swiftly to prevent such violations and ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
