Kuwait Hosts 26th GCC Housing Officials Meeting to Boost Cooperation

Kuwait City: Acting General Director of Kuwait's Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Rashid Al-Enezi, stated on Tuesday that the 26th meeting of senior housing officials from GCC countries is a key opportunity to enhance cooperation and align visions in housing projects. Chairing the meeting, Al-Enezi emphasized Kuwait's pride in hosting such gatherings, which aim to unify efforts toward meeting the housing needs of GCC citizens.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Enezi praised Qatar's leadership during the 2024 session and highlighted the region's strong efforts in housing development. He expressed hope that the meeting would lead to recommendations for the upcoming 23rd GCC Housing Ministers' Meeting and encouraged the exchange of successful experiences for sustainable housing goals.

The meeting is part of the third Gulf Housing Week, held in Kuwait from May 18-22, under the theme "Real Estate Development for Sustainable Housing."
