Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi inaugurated the Military Affairs Sector's new building at the General Secretariat of the GCC in Riyadh. The event was attended by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces Lieutenant General Fahd Al Ghufaili, as well as heads of military offices and attaches at the embassies of the GCC countries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Budaiwi emphasized that joint military and security efforts are a vital aspect of the Gulf Cooperation Council's mission. He noted that GCC countries are committed to enhancing these efforts to achieve greater military integration, which will strengthen the foundations of security and stability in the region. Al-Budaiwi stated that this reflects the vision of the leaders of the GCC nations in establishing a unified and integrated defense system. He praised the efforts of the personnel in the Military Affairs Sector for their diligent follow-up on all files and decisions related to military matters, as well as their ongoing commitment to enhancing cooperation and defense integration among the GCC countries.
