Al Asimah: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Nader Aljalal announced that the 25th meeting of the GCC ministerial committee of higher education and scientific research adopted a unified guiding reference to equalize scientific certificates.
According to Kuwait News Agency, during the Kuwait-hosted committee meeting, Dr. Aljalal emphasized the significance of the gathering in enhancing cooperation and integration among GCC countries in the areas of higher education and scientific research. The meeting highlighted the joint commitment to revamping the higher education systems within the GCC nations.
The GCC ministers agreed on a unified strategy for combating drugs, a reference for supporting talented students and those with special needs, and the establishment of joint databases. Additionally, an attachment was made to promote the Gulf identity within teaching curriculums. The 25th edition of the meeting concluded with these recommendations set to be submitted to higher authorities for further action.
