Kuwait Highlights Aviation Capabilities at Dubai Airshow 2025

Dubai: The Dubai Airshow 2025 commenced under the theme "The Future Begins Here," with Kuwait participating prominently. Kuwaiti representation is spearheaded by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah and Chairman of Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Interior Ministry is showcasing a security helicopter to demonstrate the country's police aviation capabilities and bolster field operations. This initiative underscores the ministry's commitment to aligning with global technological advancements, upgrading its air fleet, and enhancing security and safety preparedness.

The airshow, which runs until November 21, gathers global leaders in aviation, space, and defense to discuss future developments in the sector, focusing on trends, innovations, and airport advancements. This year's edition features over 1,500 exhibitors, 148,000 visitors, and 490 military and civilian delegations from 115 countries. The show also includes 98 additional display zones covering 8,000 square meters, 120 startups, and 50 investors.

More than 200 aircraft, including commercial, military, business, and unmanned models, are on display in flying and static shows. This makes it the largest edition in the event's history. Attendees have the opportunity to gain insights into the aviation and space ecosystem through panel discussions and interactive workshops, with a focus on advanced air mobility, highlighting Dubai's role as an innovation hub.

For the first time, the airshow features flights by electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, reinforcing its status as a global platform for the future of air transport. Public and private airlines from around the world are showcasing their latest technologies and solutions.
