Gaza city: Three Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation forces in a new breach of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 11, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported on Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the agency added that a child was killed in a neighborhood east of Gaza City, while another Palestinian was killed by an Israeli occupation drone in the Atatra area, northwest of Gaza. A third Palestinian was killed in the town of Beit Lahia, Gaza.
Hamas, in a press statement, called for an "urgent" move to save civilians in Gaza and to bring in aid, tents, and prefabricated houses to the Gaza Strip amid the "worsening humanitarian disaster." They highlighted the "tragic conditions" faced by Palestinians after two years of genocidal war in Gaza, including the lack of food, medicine, clean water, and shelter supplies, as well as the collapse of the healthcare system. This, they noted, is a "grave danger to the lives of unarmed civilians, especially children and women, during winter and rain."
Hamas holds the occupation fully responsible for continuing violations of the ceasefire agreement against the Palestinian people, as well as for the continued closure of crossings and preventing humanitarian relief from reaching Gaza. They called on the countries guaranteeing the agreement to exert pressure on the occupation and open the crossings, foremost of which is the Rafah crossing, to allow the entry of relief and medical aid, tents, emergency medical supplies, and allow movement of people in both directions.
