Kuwait FM urges Lebanon to increase efforts against narcotics’ trafficking

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, currently on an official visit to Lebanon, on Sunday urged the Lebanese authorities to increase efforts to curb smuggling drugs to Kuwait and other regional countries.

The minister made the demand during a meeting with Lebanon Interior Minister Bassam Al-Mawlawi.

He stressed on the necessity of increasing the efforts to curb smuggling the narcotics to Kuwait and the region, noting that the Lebanese state ought to shoulder its responsibilities and fulfil its duties to stop this for sake of safeguarding the two brotherly countries and peoples.
