Kuwait FM Leads Delegation to Arab League’s 164th Session

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya chaired the Kuwaiti delegation to the 164th ordinary session of the Arab League Council, at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, in Cairo.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministers discussed all topics listed on the agenda and decisions related to backing and boosting joint Arab action in political, economic, and social fields, as stated by Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.

The meeting also focused on themes and issues related to current developments in the region, particularly the events in the Gaza Strip and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The ministers emphasized the importance of doubling efforts to meet joint visions in addressing challenges surrounding the Arab world, considering the consequences of ongoing events on regional and international levels and their impacts on international peace and security.

Additionally, the session addressed ways to develop and enhance cooperation among the Arab system, friendly countries, and international organizations, as concluded in the ministry's statement.
