Kuwait First Deputy PM Chairs Meeting for Construction of Husseiniyas, Mosques

Kuwait city: Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah on Monday chaired the first meeting of a team tasked with organizing the construction of husseiniyas and mosques. Sheikh Fahad Yusuf emphasized that these efforts reflect the country's vision to improve religious action while ensuring adherence to laws and regulations, said Interior ministry in a statement.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the initiative will also help uphold religious and human values and maintain Kuwait's esteemed position regionally and internationally. The statement noted that the meeting follows the guidance of Kuwait's wise leadership, aiming to establish clear procedures and high standards for licensing and organizing these religious institutions.

The goal is to maximize their positive impact and enhance their role in serving the community, it added.
