Kuwait Engages in Strategic Defense and Aviation Talks

Kuwait city: Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Saba, engaged in discussions with the Defense Attache of the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait aimed at enhancing bilateral defense ties and military cooperation. The meetings highlight Kuwait's ongoing efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities through international partnerships.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Chairman of the Kuwaiti Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressed his intent to advance cooperation with Japan in the realm of civil aviation. This initiative reflects Kuwait's dedication to improving its aviation sector through strategic international collaborations.

In the Gaza Strip, health authorities reported that 130 Palestinians were martyred and 495 injured over the past 24 hours amidst the continuing conflict. The Israeli occupation's actions have led to a humanitarian crisis, drawing international attention and calls for intervention.

In Cairo, a Palestinian official emphasized the necessity for the international community to fulfill its financial commitments to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Adequate funding is crucial for supporting Palestinian refugees amid ongoing hostilities.

Additionally, the Arab League reiterated the urgent need for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Such a ceasefire is deemed essential to initiate early recovery and reconstruction efforts in the region.
