Kuwait Embassy in China Marks National and Liberation Days with Reception

Beijing: The Embassy of Kuwait in China organized a reception to celebrate the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day, attended by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Miao Deyu, senior officials, and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Beijing. Kuwait's Ambassador to China, Jassem Al-Najem, conveyed his congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Ambassador Al-Najem emphasized the strong historic ties between Kuwait and China, noting this year as the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations. He highlighted the friendship and development that have characterized their partnership, with achievements in political, economic, trade, energy, and cultural fields. Ambassador Al-Najem reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to its strategic partnership with China and the advancement of cooperation for mutual interests.

The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters participated in the event, showcasing paintings and sculptures by Kuwaiti artists. A musical ensemble performed both Kuwaiti and Chinese melodies, which were well received by the attendees.
