Kuwait Embassies in Argentina, Canada, and New Zealand Celebrate National Day and Liberation Day


Buenos Aires: The Kuwaiti embassies in Argentina, Canada, and New Zealand marked Kuwait’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day with receptions attended by senior officials and diplomats.



According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait Ambassador to Argentina Abdulaziz Al-Bisher offered congratulations on the occasions to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti government and people.



The Buenos Aires celebration featured attendance by Argentina’s Cabinet Chief Guillermo Francos, representatives from the diplomatic corps, as well as cultural, media, social figures, and businessmen. Ambassador Al-Bisher emphasized the 56-year bilateral relationship between Kuwait and Argentina and highlighted the desire for expanded joint cooperation. The event included performances of the national anthems by the Argentine Police Band and lighting of landmarks in Buenos Aires in Kuwaiti flag colors.



In Ottawa, Canada, the embassy’s reception was attended by accredited ambassadors, officials, and dignitaries, who expressed their wishes for Kuwait’s continued progress and prosperity. Meanwhile, in Wellington, New Zealand, the embassy hosted a reception that included Jo McKeagg, Principal Adviser to the Deputy Secretary for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Kuwait’s Ambassador to New Zealand Sheikh Sabah Nasser Al-Malik Al-Sabah conveyed congratulations to Kuwait’s political leadership and praised the strong bilateral ties between Kuwait and New Zealand. The gathering in Wellington was attended by senior officials, ambassadors, and diplomatic representatives.
