KUWAIT CITY: The Ministry of Defense has participated in efforts to dismantle illegally constructed dwellings and structures in undeveloped regions in the southern and northern parts of the country. The initiative is part of a broader campaign to enforce laws and safeguard public lands. According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry announced in a statement on Wednesday that its military, administrative, and financial divisions have been actively involved in the campaign, which began on October 7. This coordinated effort includes collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, the Environment Public Authority, the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries, and Kuwait Municipality. The Ministry of Defense has established field teams comprising personnel from the supplies authority and the military installations engineering department. These teams are tasked with addressing unlicensed camps and clearing abandoned objects and debris scattered across state land plots.
