Kuwait Consulate in Houston Celebrates National and Liberation Days

Houston: The General Consulate of the State of Kuwait in Houston organized a celebratory event to mark Kuwait's 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day. The consulate expressed its congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the people of Kuwait.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the event was attended by senior American officials, including representatives from the Houston Mayor's Office, such as Gigi Lee. Consuls general from Gulf, Arab, and international countries, as well as prominent political, business, and community figures, were present. Kuwaiti citizens and students residing in the consular district also attended the celebration.

The consulate declared February 25 as a Friendship Day between Houston and Kuwait. This initiative aims to reinforce cultural ties and cooperation, emphasizing Kuwait's national heritage and achievements, and highlighting the longstanding strategic partnership between the two communities.
