Kuwait city: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation regarding the actions of Israeli occupation forces targeting medical, relief, and media personnel at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, located in the Gaza Strip.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Gulf Cooperation Council's Secretary General, Jasem Al-Budaiwi, also strongly condemned these actions by the Israeli forces. The targeting of personnel at the medical complex has been labeled as an atrocious act, sparking widespread denunciation from various regional leaders.
In related news, the Kuwait Olympic Committee is focusing on the advancement of sports within the nation. Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, reaffirmed the committee's dedication to promoting the Olympic and sports movement. He emphasized the importance of supporting Kuwaiti athletes to ensure a promising future for sports in the country, asserting that athletes are central to the sporting process.
Meanwhile, Kuwait's Ambassador to Tunisia, Mansour Al-Omar, highlighted Kuwait's commitment to supporting its athletes in international tournaments. This statement comes as Kuwait's junior athletics team recently secured four medals-two gold and two bronze-at the U18 Arab Athletics Championship hosted in Tunis, which took place from August 23 to 27.
