Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has strongly condemned statements made by the Israeli occupation's prime minister regarding a plan to evict Palestinians from their territories. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait declared that this plan represents a clear violation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and international laws.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait reaffirmed its opposition to any efforts to displace Palestinians, calling on the international community and the UN Security Council to take action to stop what it describes as genocide and collective punishment against Palestinians. The statement also urged an immediate halt to the policies of starvation and settlement expansion by the occupation forces in occupied Palestine.
The official statement emphasized that a comprehensive and just peace in the region requires ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. It reiterated Kuwait's support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
