Kuwait Condemns Israeli Decision to Transfer West Bank Lands to ‘State Lands’

Kuwait: Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed strong condemnation of Israel's decision to designate lands in the West Bank as "state lands" under the control of the occupying power. The ministry highlighted its opposition to this action, emphasizing its support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to international law.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Board of Directors, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, reaffirmed Kuwait's dedication to its developmental and humanitarian responsibilities. He emphasized Kuwait's intention to reinforce its international partnerships.

Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister also highlighted the necessity for reforming the nation's labor laws to ensure they remain adaptable and in line with Kuwait's economic progress. This initiative is seen as crucial for the country's future growth and development.

Additionally, Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait reiterated Kuwait's steadfast commitment to empowering women in the judiciary sector, reflecting the country's broader goals of gender equality and inclusion.

Meanwhile, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, commended the GCC Joint Program Production Institution for its pivotal role in fostering media cooperation across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

In another development, under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Nayef Light Ammunition Factory was inaugurated, marking a significant milestone for Kuwait's defense sector.

Furthermore, Minister of Oil Tareq Al-Roumi launched the Kuwait Oil Tanker Company's Fleet Performance Monitoring Center, underscoring the country's ongoing efforts to enhance its oil transportation capabilities.

In regional news, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi and Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi emphasized the need for fostering understanding and consensus to facilitate a potential agreement between Tehran and Washington.
