Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Cabinet on Tuesday approved a draft decree-law by abolishing Article 29 of Law No. 47 of 1993 concerning housing welfare, which is commonly known as "Who Sold His House Law". The decision was made during the Cabinet's customary weekly meeting.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Cabinet has decided to refer the newly passed legislation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for further consideration. The move marks a significant step in revising the existing housing welfare laws in Kuwait.
