Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior announced that the staff of the General Administration of Customs and the postal investigations department successfully intercepted large quantities of illicit drugs arriving from several Asian and European countries through air and land border crossings.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the authorities seized nearly 35,800 Lyrica capsules, 35 kg of chemical substances, 1.474 gm of hashish, and 2.3 gm of 'shabu' (methamphetamine). Some of these consignments were intercepted upon arrival via air cargo, while others were stopped at the Al-Abdali and Nuwaisib land border crossings. The ministry's statement highlighted the coordinated efforts to combat drug trafficking and safeguard the country's borders.
