Kuwait Assistant FM Chairs GCC Senior Officials’ Meeting

Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Affairs Ambassador Najeeb Al-Bader chaired a virtual meeting of senior officials from the foreign ministries of GCC member states.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Ambassador Al-Bader stated in a post-meeting announcement that the gathering was a preparatory step for the 165th session of the GCC Ministerial Council, which Kuwait is set to host in early September. The meeting provided a platform for consultation and coordination among member states, covering key agenda items and discussing upcoming responsibilities amid ongoing regional and international developments.

Ambassador Al-Bader emphasized that the meeting demonstrated the GCC member states' commitment to enhancing constructive cooperation. He also noted the current presidency's dedication to strengthening joint coordination, which contributes to regional security and stability and serves the strategic interests of all GCC countries.
