Kuwait Army Chief Confers Colonel Rank on 35th Batch of Officers

Kuwait city: Kuwait Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraiaan, conferred the rank of Colonel on the 35th batch of officers, in accordance with the Amiri Decree issued by His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the General Staff of the Army released a press statement indicating that Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraiaan conveyed the congratulations of the Minister of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, to the promoted officers. He expressed hopes that this promotion would serve as an incentive for the officers to exert more effort and dedication in serving their homeland.

The ceremony saw attendance from several high-profile figures, including the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah, members of the Military Defense Council, and a number of senior commanding officers in the army.
