Kuwait City: Kuwait Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifah Al-Ajeel and Uzbekistan Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov discussed enhancing economic ties between the two countries. In a press statement, the Ministry of Commerce highlighted the discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral trade relations. According to Kuwait News Agency, the two ministers also talked about the upcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Kuwait. During this visit, several key files will be addressed with the intention of increasing trade cooperation between the two nations. The statement further revealed that the value of Kuwait's imports from Uzbekistan in the third quarter of 2024 amounted to KD 1,793,000, equivalent to approximately USD 5.8 million.
