Kuwait and Qatar Focus on Strengthening Cooperation in Youth Affairs

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi discussed on Saturday with Qatar's Minister of Sport and Youth Sheikh Mohammad bin Khalifa Al Thani means of developing cooperation and sharing expertise between the two sisterly countries. This meeting took place on the sidelines of Al-Mutairi's visit to Doha for Kuwait's match against Jordan in the 2025 Arab Cup, attended by the Kuwaiti Embassy's acting Charge d'Affaires to Qatar Mohammad Al-Zoubi.

According to Kuwait News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Mutairi expressed appreciation and thanks to Qatar's leadership, government, and people for their reception of the delegations participating in the cup. He acknowledged the efforts made by Qatar to ensure the championship's success and to boost sports cooperation among Arab states.

Both ministers discussed ways to collaborate and share expertise to support youth and sports sectors, aiming to enhance common Gulf action. Earlier, Al-Mutairi arrived in Doha with a group of Kuwaiti fans to attend the match.
