Kuwait city: President of Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah discussed with Nepal's Ambassador Ghana Shyam Lamsal ways to enhance bilateral collaboration in the civil aviation sector. The discussion aimed at developing air connectivity between the two countries, focusing on facilitating passenger movement and boosting coordination.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting highlighted the necessity of updating the flight agreements between the two nations, as the Nepalese population in Kuwait has doubled to 160,000. Sheikh Humoud emphasized the importance of increasing the number of flights to align with the evolving market demands in Kuwait and to accommodate the growing number of Nepalese residents.
