Vilnius: The State of Kuwait and Lithuania have formalized an agreement to engage in political consultations, as representatives from both nations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the Lithuanian capital.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Europe Affairs Sadeq Maarafi and Lithuanian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Audra Plepyte signed the MoU, which marks a significant step in fostering political dialogue between the two countries. The signing ceremony took place in Vilnius, and the details were shared in a press release by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Germany.
Following the signing, the inaugural round of political consultations was held, focusing on enhancing bilateral economic and investment relations. Both parties expressed interest in exchanging expertise across various domains, including scientific, medical, and governance fields. The discussions also covered key regional and international issues, indicating a broader scope of collaboration.
