Kuwait City: Head of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah met with Bahraini Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa on Monday to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in civil aviation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting focused on mechanisms for exchanging technical and operational expertise and coordinating joint efforts to advance the civil aviation sector in line with global developments, highlighting the strong ties between the two countries.
The discussion emphasized the significance of strengthening partnerships and integration in air transport. Key areas of focus included applying best practices in airport operations and ensuring the safety and security of air navigation. Furthermore, both parties considered the importance of improving the efficiency of their national workforces and expanding specialized training programs. They also discussed the exchange of information on aviation safety, security, and navigation systems, aiming to build a sustainable aviation ecosystem that supports the national economy and aligns with international standards.
