Kuwait City: The Amiri Diwan has extended congratulations from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to citizens and residents on the forthcoming fasting month of Ramadan. This announcement comes as the region faces escalating tensions.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces' recent attacks on multiple regions in Syria. The ministry described these actions as a blatant violation of international law, as well as resolutions of international legitimacy and the UN Charter.
In a similar vein, Jassem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), also expressed his strong condemnation of the Israeli attacks on Syrian locations. These statements reflect a unified stance among Gulf countries regarding the breaches of Syrian sovereignty.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) reported a decrease in the price of Kuwait oil, noting a drop of USD 1.33, settling at USD 76.49 per barrel on Wednesday, down from USD 77.82 the previous day. This change in oil prices comes amid broader economic fluctuations in the region.
Weather forecasts indicate that Kuwait will experience scattered rainfalls over the weekend, influenced by cold air masses from northeastern Europe, which are expected to cause a gradual increase in temperatures.
