Nablus: Israeli occupation troops on Thursday raided Balata refugee camp east of Nablus in the West Bank, killing a young Palestinian in the aggression.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Mahmoud Sanaqra, 25, was shot dead in the shantytown by the occupation forces during the attack, as stated by the public authority for civil affairs. The troops retained his corpse following the incident.
The attack also resulted in injuries to a child, an elderly man, and another young resident in the area. A camouflaged special occupation force initially entered the camp in the early hours, and upon their identification by Palestinian residents, additional troops were deployed, leading to further aggression and opening fire on the residents, causing the casualties.
The occupation forces have intensified their operations against Palestinians in the West Bank.
