Kuwait Amir Signs Decree Reshuffling Cabinet

Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah signed a decree reshuffling the cabinet. The Amiri decree has led to a change in the title of Omar Saud Al-Omar, who is now designated as the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the decree also includes several new appointments. Osama Khaled Boodai has been appointed as the Minister of Commerce and Industry. Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has taken the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaij is now serving as the Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs.

The reshuffle extends to Dr. Tareq Hamad Al-Jalahma, appointed as the Minister of State for Youth and Sport Affairs. Abdulaziz Nasser Al-Marzouq has been named Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment. Abdullah Sabeeh Buftain is now the Minister of Information and Culture, while Dr. Yaqoub Al-Sayed Yousef Al-Refaei has accepted the role of Minister of Finance.

The decree mandates that His Highness the Prime Minister is responsible for implementing these changes, which will come into effect upon publication in the official gazette.
